A colleague and I commute to school on our bikes year-round, providing us with lots of opportunities to mess with one another’s rides. Here’s my latest triumph. Using his rain gear and a couple of bungee cords, I rigged “The Headless Bicyclist.”
Yes, I bought a car this summer. No, it was not so that I could drive to school on rainy days, certainly not on the first day!

Whew! Looks like I dodged a close one! I checked my phone this morning to find the following text message:
“Had the opportunity to nail you on your bike this morning but didn’t. Just sayin…”
Gotta love my kids. Especially those who drive! =)
I pack up my gear at the end of another gym-climbing session and head toward the door. As I step outside, the desk manager calls out, “You’re still riding your bike?” I guess the helmet on my head and the reflective ankle bands give me away.
